Nothing really prepares you to become a parent. Some of us were lucky enough to have parents who set a good example; others grew up in homes where the dynamic between parent and child was anything but consistent or loving. And even with the most loving upbringing, no one is ever fully prepared for every challenge their own children bring.
That’s where parenting coaching comes in. Coaching is a little different from traditional therapy. It’s goal-directed. Together we choose a goal (say, getting your child to school on time without a daily meltdown) and I offer practical techniques to help you get the outcomes you’re hoping for. My aim is to share what I’ve learned so you can feel more in control of your own actions and your home.
